The Person Who Inspiring Me --- Huang Zihongfan

 

Huang Zihongfan was born on April 21, 1999, in a musical family in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, China. He was influenced by his parents' love for music since childhood. His journey from Lanzhou to becoming an accomplished artist, and his academic pursuits at Berklee College of Music in the United States, became my inspiration. In 2017, when he was a senior in high school, he applied to several colleges using videos of himself singing seven songs in English, French, Italian, Chinese and other languages. He received offers and substantial scholarships from six prestigious institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, Boston Conservatory of Music, Manhattan School of Music and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. After graduating from high school, Huang Zihongfan chose to attend Berklee College of Music.

 

His decision to further his education at Berklee College of Music in Boston reflected his commitment to honing his skills and expanding his artistic horizons. His academic journey at Berkeley not only exemplified his commitment to excellence, but also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and growth when pursuing one's passions.

 

Huang Zihongfan's cultural roots can be traced back to the Han nationality, which reflects his profound cultural heritage. Growing up in Lanzhou, he was exposed to the region's diverse cultures, which laid the foundation for his artistic tendencies. His passion for the arts led him to pursue a career as an actor and singer. In November 2018, he attracted public attention for participating in the Hunan Satellite TV vocal talent show. In January 2020, she starred in the youth campus growth drama, and in May she starred in the Chinese version of the musical "Kiki's Delivery Service". In December of the same year, he participated in the CCTV national talent show and eventually became an outstanding representative of "Colorful Youth".

 

His commitment to his craft is evident in every role he plays, which has earned him national and international acclaim. Through his performances, he demonstrated versatility, portraying characters with depth and emotion that appealed to a wide audience and earned the respect of his peers.

Beyond his professional achievements, Huang Zihongfan provides a beacon of inspiration for those who face the challenges of the entertainment industry while adhering to their principles. Personally, he greatly encouraged me to pursue my passions. Witnessing his passion for life firsthand on a travel show, I was deeply inspired by his optimism about his friends and life. He always seems to be willing to face challenges with an optimistic attitude, as if a smile can solve any difficulty. He taught me that there are not as many bystanders in life as we think. We should do what we want to do without hesitation and ignore other people's looks and gossip.

 

Before encountering him, I was a person who avoided events and didn't like to express my opinions in front of others. After watching some of his videos, I started attending some communication-oriented events. I realized that you only live once and you will regret it if you miss the opportunity. Therefore, whenever I encounter an activity that I want to participate in and it does not conflict with my studies, I will choose to participate. As he said, one must be happy, free, and do what one wants. When you are dissatisfied with yourself, get rid of that dissatisfaction.
